Qi Pan, Gerhard Reitmayr and Tom Drummond, researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed ProForm, a program that creates textured 3D models in real time using only an ordinary webcam.
While applications were already pointing in this direction ( imodeller 3D ), the fact of doing in real time with a video camera low resolution is impressive.
